Mozart Dane Donates his Paintings
To benefit the Columbus AIDS Task Force
Mozart donated the painting “Dane-sies of the Meadow"
(below) to Art for Life 2010, the premier art event in Ohio, benefiting
the Columbus AIDS Task Force. Featuring more than 50 local and
national artists,
Art for Life 2010 included both a live and silent
auction of the donated works.
The
event was held September 25,
2010 at Columbus City Center in Columbus, Ohio.
To benefit the Clintonville Arts and Music Festival
In September 2008 Mozart donated a painting for the silent auction,
part of the Columbus, Ohio based Clintonville festival where Mozart was an exhibitor.
To benefit the Columbus AIDS Task Force
Mozart donated the painting “Sunshine Dayne” (right) to Art for Life 2008, the
premier art event in Ohio, benefiting the Columbus AIDS Task Force.
Featuring more than 50 local and national artists, Art for Life 2008 included
both a live and silent auction of the donated works. The event was
held May 10, 2008 at Columbus City Center in Columbus, Ohio.
In gratitude to the Franklin County Animal Shelter
To thank the shelter for saving his life, Mozart donated his painting "Mo-ment
in Time" (left) to the Franklin County Animal Shelter. Shelter Director Lisa Wahoff accepted the painting from Mozart
on December 1, 2007 at his gallery opening.
To benefit military personnel
In December 2007 Mozart auctioned his painting "Desert
Dane" (right) on eBay. He donated the proceeds to purchase items for a military group
stationed in Iraq and based out of Ft. Riley, Kansas, the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division,
1st Battalion, 4th Brigade, 1st Division Military Transition Team.
