Harlequin Haven Great Dane Rescue

Scarlett

I was found along with my brother Rhett scrounging for food, I was so hungry I even tried to steal the food from a raccoon trap and had gotten my paw caught. We were slowly starving to death but we were lucky the Franklin County Animal Shelter came and saved us. When our stray time was up we were transported to HHGDR. We are now receiving the care and food we needed. The rescue says it will be quite a while before we will be adoptable. We are both 30 - 40 pounds underweight.

Update November 27: I am slowly gaining weight, it has been an uphill battle since I was so emaciated when I arrived at the rescue.
Update December 20: My brother Rhett and I are now ready for adoption and we prefer to be adopted together since we have never been apart.

Update March 1: Rhett and I decided that we would be willing to be separated if it helped us find a forever loving home quicker.

Please if you can spare a few dollars to help the Rescue to help me it would be greatly appreciated.  As you can see from the pictures below I was extremely emaciated when I arrived at the rescue.  My recovery will be slow so that the rescue ensures that I do not have more health issues. Thanks Scarlett
