I was rescued from an abusive situation then 6 days later I was dumped at the Franklin County Animal Shelter! They said I was not good with small children but I was never really given a chance. I was sick and underweight and thankfully the shelter saw my needs and contacted HHGDR to come for me. A few hours after being dumped I was being transported to Harlequin Haven. Within 48 hours of arriving at the rescue I had full blown pneumonia.

It has been a struggle but I am finally getting over the pneumonia hopefully soon I will start gaining weight and will be looking for my forever home!  I did get to go to the vet and have my leg x-rayed. I have a growth deformity that caused my leg to grow crooked. It does not bother me at all it just looks funny!

I am ready for my forever home!!

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me it would be greatly  appreciated.
