My first owners took me to the Franklin County Animal Shelter when they were moving to New York and could not take me. Luckily the shelter immediately called HHGDR to come for me, as soon as I was vet checked I was on my way to the Rescue. Update: I thought I had found my forever home on December 11, but instead it was more of a nightmare!!  First, they did not listen to a thing the Rescue told them about not having tons of company while I was still adjusting, and if that was not bad enough they went out and got a mean collar that poked me in the neck!!! The Rescue had a trainer contact them but after several times of talking with them it was decided my new family was not listening and before I got hurt it was best if I came back to the Rescue. 

Update: Once again I am at the rescue looking for a forever home. This time I screwed things up! I took advantage of my adopted parents and well Grandma says I have became a bully and a brat.

I again am looking for a forever home but Grandma says I need one that is assertive and has a more dominate personality then I do! I am very big and very playful and need an active family so I do not get bored.

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me it would be greatly  appreciated.
